OBITUARY

Ms. Whaley was preceded in death by her brother, George, and sister, Ellen. Family members include: sisters, Mary Whaley-Green, Diana Whaley-Campbell, Sharon L. Whaley and Annette Whaley- Fowler and Grace Faulk-Gaines; brothers, Julius and Joseph; two brothers-in-law, Pastor John Green, Jr. and Joel S. Fowler; one sister-in- law, Patricia Whaley; friends of the family, James Owens and Brenda Pemberton; fifteen nieces and nephews; two aunts, Rose Brown, and Lucille Whaley; one uncle, Edward Whaley; two God-children Leisha Allen and Nathanial Adams Jr.; and a host of other family, friends and spiritual children from the Ivory Coast and the United States.

A viewing and memorial service will be held on Friday, March 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Christ Baptist Church, 1505 Church Lane. Final services will be held Saturday, March 17, at 10:00 a.m., with viewing from 8-10 a.m., also at Christ Baptist Church. Interment will take place at Northwood Cemetery.
